Social Communication
Social communication therapy focuses on helping children develop the skills they need to interact and connect with others in everyday situations. This includes understanding and using language for different purposes—such as taking turns in conversation, staying on topic, reading social cues, and building friendships. Through play-based, engaging activities, therapy supports children in learning how to communicate more effectively and confidently across home, school, and community settings.

Practicing Social Skills Through Guided Therapy
We support children in developing the following skills:
-
Turn-taking and sharing
-
Initiating and maintaining conversations
-
Reading social cues (body language, facial expressions, tone of voice)
-
Flexible thinking and problem-solving
-
Emotional regulation and perspective-taking
-
Building friendships and meaningful relationships
We use The Social Thinking Curriculum by Michelle Garcia Winner and structured activities to teach real-life skills in a supportive and engaging setting.
Our goal is to create a safe space where kids can connect, communicate, and grow together—while still having fun!
